Ever since joining the OA a year ago I've been looking for something to get me more involved in the Order. One thing I like about the OA is the opportunities it gives to boys like OA High Adventure trips and NOAC. Our chapter has lots of active members and we're growing. Some of our members have participated in National and World Jamborees, ArrowCorps5, and they've gone to Philmont and Northern Tier High Adventure Bases. Our Chapter Advisor is Shaun Ruocco (

Unit Elections - Unit elections are complete. This year we held elections at 13 Troops and elected 66 people (9 Adults and 57 youth). Our Call-out ceremony was held at the Rockland District's Klondike on February 7th. The Dance team led the ceremony on a snow covered field at Camp Bullowa. Bullowa Ordeal Weekend was great success. We completed a number of important projects which helped the camp prepare for this summer. These projects include a new bridge, a new trail to the Munsi lean-to's, clean canoes and some general litter removal. Approximately 40 candidates became new Ordeal members and there were also 8 new Brotherhood members. |
