Brothers; As the time nears for the end of year preparations, I'd like to reflect on the great year the Lodge had. Through Andrew Klock's leadership, we had two great Ordeals. Also we hosted this years Section Conclave, which was a huge success. In addition, we had our first Brotherhood Day, which I hope will become a continued tradition, in the Lodge. We also lead the Native American section of the 100th Anniversary Camporee at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds. But this is still a busy time for our new Lodge Chief, Chris Zillig. At this time he must prepare for the upcoming LLD, and the Banquet. He also will have to prepare the Lodge Charter application, which must be submitted by the end of the year. He also must prepare a new set of dates for next years Calendar. It should be no surprise to anyone , familiar with the Lodge, that the Lodge Chief is a full time responsibility, that always faces new challenges. We are very fortunate to have a long line of Chiefs who have stepped up to the tasks at hand, and met their Obligations with honor. I feel very proud to have worked with these individuals and watched them develop their skills, and become increasingly confident at their jobs. I hope all of our members and their families well, as the year draws to an end, and hope that many of you will join us for fellowship, at our Annual Banquet, on January 8th at Anthony's Pier 9.

Brothers:
I am very pleased how Nacha Nimat Lodge served with distinction at the Haunted Harvest Fest at Camp Bullowa. The compliments I received for the participation of our youth was inspiring. My thanks to everyone who came out to make this event such a great success. On Sunday morning, the Lodge held its elections. I would like to thank Tom Raco, our Immediate Past Chief, for conducting such an efficient, well run election. Andrew Klock was elected as the new Lodge Chief and I already see his enthusiasm and vision for his new position. Along with Andrew, we have a full slate for this year’s Executive Committee. Some are familiar names, who have been involved with the Lodge for a while. But you will also notice many new names, of young men who have decided to take a leadership role in our Lodge. I hope we will all support them in their new challenge, and I congratulate them on taking this step. The Lodge is also working, on a Section level, to prepare for hosting the 2010 NE-7B Conclave. This is a huge event for us, and I hope to see many of you there. We can really use your help.
In the mean time I hope all is with all, as we are look forward to a great year!

It’s hard for me to believe that’s it’s been almost 2 years since I became your Lodge Advisor. Up to this point, I had spent most of my time doing service at Lodge events. Being exposed to the administrative side was an eye-opener. There are so many aspects, and functions of the Lodge, that many do not realize how many members, both youth and adult, participate in these different capacities. I’d to thank all the members for there help both at our weekends, and serving behind the scene, to make the Lodge function so well. It truly exemplifies the spirit of Cheerful Service. I’d also like to thank all those who offered their expertise on many subjects, in order that we could improve our operations. There are many of you that also disagreed with certain policies and decisions. I hope that we were able to respond to your concerns in a timely manner. With such a large Lodge, we can’t satisfy everyone’s concerns, but hopefully, we gave those members a reasonable explanation for our actions. I’m writing this to give all of you an idea of my experiences in my first year. It’s been rewarding, an honor to serve with such motivated and dedicated individuals. I’m looking forward to the upcoming year with enthusiasm.
I hope to see our Brothers, both Youth, and Adults at the upcoming events and share in Fellowship, and Cheerful Service.
Yours in WWW,
